Our Roots

If you have a deep connection to music then you can relate to playing music from your smartphone only to be disappointed by the low strength of the speaker. Some of us are aware of the old 'stick your phone in a cup trick' to amplify its sound (if not.. then you’re welcome) but we envisioned a speaker that would combine that amplification function with a modern design. 

Earthamp is a wooden amplifier for smartphones used to naturally enhance your smartphone audio experience. Earthamp's unique shape reflects the sound waves from your smartphone's speaker, through it's inner surface made of solid beech wood, and out of the open-end of the product.  

Earthamp was created and produced by product design firm PRMSNS. It's distinctive nose cone shape, inspired by the front section of an aircraft, was designed in collaboration with Serbian industrial designer Igor Dzukovski. The result is a simple, functional home furnishing piece with a natural aesthetic.
